Where your data goes
Your question, and the records needed to answer it, go to Anthropic's Claude API over an encrypted connection. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. Exactly what the tool stores, where, and for how long is written into our agreement before you grant access.

I co-founded Fuse AE, where we engineer and manufacture EV conversion kits in the UAE. Parts, BOMs, stock and suppliers are my daily problem as well, and Ask your shop started as the tool I built to query our own data.
I started mitdesign because every business I have worked in needed tools shaped to how it actually runs, and custom software was always too slow and too expensive to justify. AI agents changed that maths. They write and wire, I design, review and answer for the result, so I can now build for other shops what I used to build only for ours.
